Salvation Prayer

Have you ever received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? Do you desire to have a living relationship with The Living God? God expressed His forgiveness for everyone at the Cross. "God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16).

You can know for sure this day that you are a child of God. "Behold, now is the acceptable time, behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Simply pray this prayer. It's not so much the actual words, but it's the opening up of your heart to the Lord.

"Heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of your Son Jesus. I open up my heart to You and ask You to come into my life, Jesus. I wish to be born again. I turn from my sin to You to become Your beloved child. I thank You that You died for my sins at Calvary and that You are risen from the dead so that I might live forever with You. I receive You now as my Savior and my Lord, my God and my Good Shepherd. Thank You for making me your child. Thank You that whoever believes in You should not perish, but have eternal life. I desire to grow in You, to walk in Your love and to be filled with Your Spirit. I pray that you will lead me into good fellowship with brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we do praise you and thank you Lord God in this day, in this time, for this one who just opened up their heart to You. We know by faith that You have come into this one to offer new life; abundant and eternal life in You. We pray that this one be blessed and protected, and surrounded with good fellowship. We thank you, Lord Jesus. May Your hand be at work in this life - body soul and spirit - to your Own glory and for Your eternal kingdom. In the name of Jesus, amen.
