Partakers In His Resurrection
Today's Word of Encouragement from Wayne:
"Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession"
Hebrews 3:1
Certainly one of the greatest aspects and benefits of our having been loved, released "from our sins by His blood," and made "to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father" (as we are told in Revelation 1:5-6), is that the risen Lord, Jesus Christ, Himself, is the High Priest of this "royal priesthood" (1 Peter 2:9). So, when you say yes to God’s love, salvation, and His making us to be a kingdom of priests, accepting the mantle of your priesthood to minister to the Lord in His presence, this truly becomes the key that unlocks the door to your own interest in and understanding of Jesus Christ as our High Priest. Ministering to the Lord is most definitely our being "partakers of a heavenly calling."
Ministering to the Lord actually calls us heavenward, to minister in the presence of our God, as His priesthood, trusting in His wisdom and outpouring that results as we do ascend, individually and corporately as His body, in our identification of ourselves as priests unto God. Ministering to the Lord is our saying, with our lives, "God You are first. You are first in my thoughts, first in my devotions as a priest in Your presence, and first in all I do." As a member of this kingdom of priests unto the Lord, you certainly want to know the meaning of Jesus Christ as the "High Priest of our confession" and, as a minister to the Lord, you are graced to see, receive and be transformed by the truth of Jesus Christ the "High Priest of our confession." He has risen! He is Lord! Hallelujah!
Happy Easter from Reverend Wayne and all of us here at Loving Grace Ministries!
