Live In The Shining Light Of Your Shepherd’s Face
Today’s Word of Encouragement from Wayne:
"O God of hosts, restore us and cause Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved"
Psalm 80:7
As a beloved child of God, sheep of your Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, it is God’s will for you, and your daily blessed privilege, to live in the shining light of your Shepherd’s face. How, you may ask? Praise God, the “how” is beautifully revealed to us in this verse from the New Testament, from the Holy Spirit writing through the apostle Paul, "God, who said, ‘Light shall shine out of darkness,’is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:6).
Wow! Praise You Lord! Yes, Jesus Christ is in us, our Good Shepherd, right now, shining away in our hearts with "the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." A truly restored soul (Psalm 23:3) is a soul restored to the constant care of our Good Shepherd and the sign of our own recognition of this is when we honestly desire, and know we need, to stay by His side at all times, for our own health, happiness, safety, and assurance.
Accept this grace from your Lord, that the same God Who caused light to shine in Genesis has decreed now that His light is in your heart so that you may see and understand that all of His glory is in the face of Jesus! Jesus, your completely committed Good Shepherd, resides within you, at this moment. His face is not only shining upon you.
Praise God, His face is shining within you! All of God’s light is shining within you now so that you may clearly see, and know, the face of your Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Live in the light of your Beloved Shepherd today. Hallelujah!
