It’s Already Done

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“Be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth”

Ephesians 4:23-24

Putting on your new self does not require some type of herculean strength. Truly, putting on your new self is like accepting and putting on the beautiful robe of “righteousness and holiness of the truth” that God has created for you in Jesus Christ.

Your “new self” has already “been created.” And this is not a one-size-fits-all situation. Your new self has been tailor made for you by God, just as your original self was wondrously and uniquely created. Your “new self” is a perfect fit for you, and a crowning glory on the whole of your creation.

Not only do old things pass away for you, as a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), but now also everything (of you) fits into place perfectly as you “put on the new self” which already “has been created in righteousness.”

Accept your new self, this awesome gift from God, made for you. Put on your new self and see for your (new) self how perfect a fit your new creation is. Your new self perfectly integrates within you your entire essence of self, and you feel whole! “And in Him you have been made complete” (Coalescence 2:10).

Yes, we thank You Lord that You have given us a new self which has already been created by You for us. We ask for the gracious understanding, the revelation, of our true new selves in You so that we will gratefully and joyfully, every day, “put on the new self, which in the likeness of God, HAS BEEN CREATED in righteousness and holiness of the truth.” Thank You Lord! Hallelujah!
