Jesus Has Set Us Free From The Fear Of Death

Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:

“That through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives”

Hebrews 2:14-15

For the last two days we have seen in Scripture how Jesus “tasted” death for us and how He has also rendered powerless the devil over our death (Hebrews 2:9 & 14).

Now, in this passage, we see why, according to God’s word, our blessed Savior has done these amazingly wonderful life-transforming things for us. Jesus Christ has accomplished these mighty deeds on our behalf specifically so He “might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.”

God has made it so that you and I may be absolutely, and beyond all doubt, set completely free from any and every fear of death, and from all the mental bondage and slavery that comes along with a fear of death. God has got us gloriously covered with His Own resurrection life and presence.

Jesus has tasted death for us and He has defeated the devil specifically so that you and I may live today and every day in complete freedom, safety and assurance in the God of our whole life.

Say goodbye to fear and say hello to Jesus, your resurrection life, every instant of your life.

Thank You Jesus that You alone are our Way, our Truth and our Life.

Hallelujah!
