Let The Redeemed Of The Lord Say So
Today’s Word Of Encouragement From Wayne:
“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary”
Psalm 107:1-2
Is there anything keeping you from praising God right now, in this moment, for His goodness, lovingkindness, and redemption towards you and on your behalf?
No?
Good!
Then “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”
Yes, “Oh give thanks to the Lord.”
There is a great way for you and I to let the world know that we have been “redeemed from the hand of the adversary” and that is for us to “say so”, through living an honest and unabashed life of praise and thanksgiving to our God Who is so good, loving, and redeeming.
There is a great way for you and I, personally, to receive, learn, and become absolutely convinced that God is with us all the time in His goodness, lovingkindness, and redemption, and that is also for us to “say so.”
The more we “say so” of our Lord’s goodness and love, for all people, the more we ourselves will see and receive of our Lord’s goodness and love. Agreeing with and then confessing the truth of our great, awesome, tender, and loving God helps us to further see the very qualities we extol and praise our God for.
Simple speaking, we become what we behold.
See this day how good and loving God is to you, and within you, and start saying so.
“Say so” to your gracious Lord in His presence.
“Say so” to your brothers and sisters in the body of Christ.
“Say so” to those who are lost, “having no hope and without God in this world” (Ephesians 2:12).
Beloved child of God “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.” Let’s not hide our “lamp and put it under a basket” any longer, as Jesus said (Matthew 5:15). Instead let’s put our lamp where it belongs, “on the lampstand” (Matthew 5:15), which is us. Let us “say so” of our great Lord so that our little lamp of light will give “light to all that are in the house” (Matthew 5:15). Amen.
If you need a little more encouragement with this, I suggest that you begin by entering God’s presence and simply start thanking Him for His goodness, lovingkindness, and redemption. In other words, “Say so” to yourself, before God, that these things are true of Him Who loves you. That should definitely swing open the doors of profound thanksgiving flowing from your heart to God and, pretty soon, you will find that you want all people to know these great qualities of our great God.
So, “Say so” to God today and then look for opportunities to “say so” to His children and to all people.
Hallelujah!
